how can i make a good recipe box/organizer?

I fail to make an organizer of the recipe so I can start learning to cook but I can not separate what I have to. Should I buy one? and organizing inside?

I use a binder with sleeves shapeable. I bought 2 kinds of plastic bags: one with dividers for cards and MO onethat fit a sheet of paper. I divided into categories and sub categories * and put dividers in the binder in their range.
